Catholic Community Services is seeking an experienced live-in house parent couple committed to helping at-risk pregnant/parenting young women to grow the skills necessary to protect and nurture their children. St. Brigid, located in Northeast Salem, is a transitional home for up to four moms and their young children. The house parent responsibilities include teaching life skills to the moms and supporting transition goals for housing, employment, health, education and safe social connections – any of the skills needed for successful independent living. House parents are compensated $4000 per month and must commit to maintaining a smoke-free, drug-free, safe and stable environment. House parents must pass a background check and drug screen, must have excellent driving records and one house parent must not maintain employment outside of the home. Aside from the shared living room, kitchen, dining area and garage, house parent private areas include a master bedroom and bathroom, plus a smaller bedroom and office, located on the ground level of the two-story home.
