When Christi lost the love of her life, she also lost her will to live. It was difficult for her to get out of bed to care for her children. Her friend referred her to Safe Families for Children staff who connected her with a host family. Together with her host family, the Bean’s, Christi’s story transformed from one of despair to a story of resilience, hope and friendship.
