Bob Weber, President of Blanchet Catholic School, has joined the Catholic Community Services Board of Directors. He has been working in education for 30 years, all in the Catholic School System. Bob was the 3rd President of Blanchet from 1997-2010. He left to be the President of Valley Catholic School in Beaverton and returned as Blanchet School President in 2017.
Bob and his wife, Christina, have been married for 17 years and have three children: Abby who is 14 and attends Blanchet; Grace who is 12 and also attends Blanchet; and Max, the youngest who is 10 and attends Queen of Peace.
Bob’s inspiration in his work as an educator and his volunteerism with CCS is to give back to the community and to help others.
“I was familiar with CCS when I worked at Blanchet previously, and when I returned to Salem, I was honored and excited to join the CCS Board,” said Bob.
When asked what most people wouldn’t know about him, Bob shared, “I am one of eight children, all of whom graduated from Catholic high school in Portland. All eight of us earned college diplomas as well.”
In his spare time, Bob enjoys spending time with family and playing golf.
