Jose Banuelos is a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at the CCS College Street Home in Mount Angel. He has been working for CCS for almost six years. Jose likes working with the residents of the home to complete their goals and feels he makes a difference through his work by helping the individuals in the home to gain more independence in their day-to-day lives.
Jose says his parents are his role models. Their hard work ethic, willingness to help others and loving others inspires Jose and helps him in his work.
“A piece of advice I would give to a newcomer for CCS is to try to find joy in, or what makes you feel good about, the thing you do with, or for, the individuals we care for,” says Jose. Thank you for your work in serving our community!
