Knights of Columbus (KoC) Councils throughout Oregon and the Knights Ladies are key partners in sustaining the legacy of the late, beloved Fr. Charles Taaffe. Recently, Statewide KoC Deputy Ron Boyce and his wife Ana Boyce presented a check in support of Fr. Taaffe Homes raised by KoC Councils and Knights Ladies. Many Knights councils take on projects throughout the year, such as the recent refurbishing of the Fr. Taaffe Homes food booth by the Queen of Peace Knights, and the winter coat drive by the Mt. Angel Knights.

Knights and Ladies, such as Ed Moore of Council 5060
St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Salem and his wife Teri, also raise funds and volunteer for St. Brigid Home throughout the year. It is only through the support organizations like the Knights and individuals like Ed and Teri that the Father Taaffe Homes are able to continue their care and support for the wellbeing of the mothers and infants who often have no alternative resources in their lives. Thanks once again to the Knights of Columbus, the Moores, and all who help make Father Taaffe’s
dream a continuing reality.
