It is hard to believe September has come and gone without the annual celebration of the Mount Angel Oktoberfest. While the gathering of friends, the delicious food and the festive music was missed by all, so too are the fundraising dollars necessary to Father Taaffe Homes and other non-profit programs that host food booths each year. For Father Taaffe Homes, the Oktoberfest, Annual Car Show and the October dinner are vital fundraisers that allow CCS to continue serving young moms in crisis, and these cancellations have a significant financial impact. Yet the work of Father Taaffe Homes continues!
Proceeds from the Mini O’fest booth at St. Edwards will help sustain Father Taaffe Homes and neighborhood supports that help young moms say yes to life and care for their babies after they are born. Drive-thru pick up will be available at the Father Taaffe booth and other favorite Oktoberfest booths. There you will find the ever-popular St. Edward Berliner Sandwich, the famous Gervais Knights of Columbus BBQ chicken, our favorite Father Taaffe O’fest Sausage, Michael the Archangel Cinnamon Rolls, Dairy Women Ice Cream and more! Please support this wonderful community effort hosted by St. Edward parish.
