Brenda and Kaylee became fast friends over a shared love of art. Brenda, a resident of one of our homes for adults with disabilities, has been painting for as long as she can remember. She draws inspiration from two of her favorite Disney characters, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. She also loves using water colors. Kaylee, a former Father Taaffe Homes mom, is pursuing a degree in art therapy. She has been working with Brenda on her art projects for the past several months. Kaylee noticed that Brenda’s art was stacking up and thought it would be fun to create a gallery for other residents to enjoy. Brenda’s creations now brighten an entire wall of the home.
