CCSF recently opened the doors of a new affordable housing complex in Woodburn. Named by the community, Villa Esperanza or Hope Villa, the new complex offers 16 new affordable units and one manager’s unit. CCS and CCSF are committed to integrating affordable housing with healthcare, social services, education and employment supports for vulnerable families. To that end, the complex also houses the office of Fostering Hope Initiative’s Woodburn Community Health Worker Erica Chavez. Erica works with individuals and families to access health care, parenting classes, counseling and other community resources. She also assists neighbors in coordinating Community Cafes, gatherings that bring neighbors together to know and support each other in making their neighborhoods great places to live and work.

Villa Esperanza joins our housing portfolio of 252 affordable housing units in Salem and Keizer.
