A Campaign to Sustain CCS Ministries at the Monastery

The overarching purpose of the Appeal of Angels is to preserve, strengthen and sustain the monastery, the ministries and the memory of the Benedictine Sisters of Mt. Angel. 

There are four main ways you can help ensure the holy ground of Queen of Angels Monastery remains a place of peace, prayer, hope and healing into the next century:

1) Queen of Angels Monastery Preservation Endowment Fund

We seek not only to preserve the buildings, but to preserve explicitly the story and memory of the Benedictine Sisters. Their story gives meaning and context to the buildings that the structures alone do not otherwise have. The fund is to be managed as a true endowment established to maintain the buildings and grounds of the monastery for faith-based social services, spiritual growth and education. All this is to be done in keeping with Catholic Social Teaching and in the tradition of service and hospitality established by the Benedictine Sisters of Mount Angel.

2) Capital and Operational Funding Partnerships

Public and Private Foundations are being asked to help with capital projects to improve the facilities for use by the ministries, and to fill operational funding gaps while the endowment is being built.

3) Friends of the Monastery – Volunteers Contributing Time and Talent

The beauty of the grounds is one of the things that makes it such a perfect and peaceful place to learn, heal and grow. The sisters have cared for every inch of the monastery for more than a century, and it will take an ongoing community effort to maintain its awesome beauty.

4) Sequoia Society – Individuals, Families & Businesses Providing Annual Support

This is an opportunity for those who want to be a part of preserving and sustaining the sisters’ legacy by pledging an annual financial contribution. Along with investors in the endowment, this group will receive regular updates and invitations to events at the monastery.

All contributions are valued and welcomed.
