Together with capital investments from the Epping Family Foundation and Maybelle Clark MacDonald Fund, gifts to the Queen of Angels Monastery Endowment and Sequoia Society are already having a positive impact on the lives of those we serve through CCS Ministries at the Monastery. Program space renovations have recently been completed, and the Fr. Taaffe ministry now offers a safe, nurturing environment for up to 13 young moms in crisis and their babies. St. Joseph Family Shelter is operating at full capacity serving up to 6 families at a time.

Last year, 19 families including 40 children and 23 adults received support to accomplish their goals, including parenting skills, financial literacy and housing stabilization. With the help of many dedicated volunteers and community partners including the Mount Angel Abbey Seminarians and Salem Harvest, Mission Benedict served 3,537 individuals facing hunger and food insecurity.
