A new project launched by the Larry and Jeanette Epping Family Foundation, called FRAN, or the Family Resource Advocacy Network, aims to meet critical needs of families in the Northeast Salem neighborhood.
The center will offer a safe community gathering space and accessible support for navigating social services and self-sufficiency programs. Located near Chemeketa Community College and built on the site of the Epping family’s former homestead, the Northeast Salem site will serve as a hub for connection and support.
Fostering Hope Initiative’s Community Health Workers, along with other partner organizations, will have permanent office space at the center to facilitate outreach and service navigation. The project is slated to open in July 2026.
